I always been big fan of stats and visual representation is a huge part of any statistical information. This site got it right (at least for me). I can spend hours browsing through various stats which also give an extraordinary way to compare different sources. If you crazy about data and statistics this site is a must for bookmarks

Custom BitTorrent Search Engine Demonstrates Google’s Proximity to The Pirate Bay

April 24th, 2009

Forbes calls Google the New Pirate Bay because it’s great at finding torrents—acting as a sort of meta-aggregator. With this custom Google search engine, it’s even easier to find and download torrents via Google.

As the Forbes article linked above points out, doing a simple search for wolverine torrent turns up several popular BitTorrent trackers, meaning you’re just two clicks away from downloading the leaked movie via BitTorrent. The custom search engine in question just streamlines the process slightly by explicitly defining which popular torrent trackers Google should search.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Google used for quick and easy file sharing. Previously mentioned G2P uses some custom Google-fu to find publicly hosted media files in a quick and easy search.

bmw 325i (manual) glitch?

April 22nd, 2009

Apparently I can run my car without keys. If I stop while having clutch pressed, turn off the engine, pull keys off and hit start button again (with clutch being still pressed) the car starts! With keys off!

Here is my question to BMW:

Skype “unlimited” calling plan

April 20th, 2009

Skype LOL at Skype and their bs “unlimited” usage which is subject to “Fair Usage Policy”. Here is what they state (source :

Calls to phones and mobiles and Skype To Go* calls are included in your subscription subject to a fair usage limit of 10,000 minutes per user per month, with a maximum of 6 hours per day. Also, no more than 50 different numbers in total can be called per day. If your subscription includes more than one country, then this is the total amount of minutes allowed per month on your account, and is not a separate limit for each country.

Was the word “unlimited” just re-defined?

Also, apparently I can not use “Skype To Go” to call land lines in Russia… Is it so hard to state it on website so I don’t have to waste an hour of my time to browse through your forums to find out the answer?
